What it costs, and what that buys

Three packages, from £180 to £560, each charged per project. A figure is the price of the smallest package whose two limits both cover the deck: how many slides it runs to, and how many charts or tables that already exist have to be restyled. A deck with few slides and a lot of charts therefore sits in a larger package, because the charts are what it needs.

Past 35 slides, or past 8 charts and tables, no package covers it. There is no published figure for a deck like that, and it is quoted in writing on its own. Send the counts anyway: the reply is a written quotation for the deck in front of me rather than a figure picked out of a range.

Outside every package

Copywriting and work on the data behind a chart are both quoted separately in writing, before anything is done, and neither is started until you have agreed to it.

Where your deck needs a typeface, a photograph or an icon set that belongs to somebody else, the licence is bought in your own name and stays yours. No licence held by anyone else is quietly counted as covering your work.

Writing or rewriting your copy. The words are placed as supplied.
Analysing your data, checking your figures or working out what they mean. A deck is laid out from conclusions you have already reached.
Building a chart from raw numbers. Charts are restyled where they already exist, and where they do not, making one is quoted separately in writing.
Translating or proofreading the text on the slides.
Sourcing photographs or illustrations, or buying stock, font or template licences on your behalf.
Animation, video editing, voice-over and anything that turns the deck into a film.
Rehearsing, presenting or speaker coaching.
Printing, binding and postage. Nothing is posted.

About the figures

Every figure on this site is in pounds sterling (GBP) and is charged per project rather than by the hour. The figure named in a written confirmation is the whole of what is payable for the work described in it: nothing is added to it afterwards, there is no handling charge, there is no delivery charge because nothing is posted, and there is no surcharge for paying by card.

Payment answers to your written confirmation and travels by whatever method that document names, with the figure restated there before a penny is asked for. No basket sits on this website and no card field: a made-to-order deck has its scope settled in writing long before money moves. Pay by card and the details go straight to the payment provider named in the confirmation, handled by them alone and never seen, received or stored at this end.

Turnaround is counted in working days and does not start until payment and the complete material have both arrived. What starts and pauses the clock is set out on the Delivery & Service Terms page, and cancelling is on the Refund & Cancellation page.
